GENERAL INFORMATION: Cartilage atrophy is a problem that afflicts sportsmen and ordinary people. This alteration often results in a reduction of the interarticular space, which is manifested by pain in the joints. BCM95® Turmeric extract, standardized to 95% in total curcuminoids, is characterized by high bioavailability, has an antioxidant action and contributes to joint function. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the regular function of cartilage and bones. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme associated in the product with Glucosamine, Hyaluronic Acid and Chondroitin sulphate to offer a particularly complete formulation. FLUID MOTION® also provides Zinc and Copper, constituents of coenzymes that play an active role in the physiological metabolism of cartilage. Copper in particular contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissues. The product does not contain gluten (Gluten Free): it is therefore also suitable for celiac subjects or those with gluten intolerance.
BIBLIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION ON BCM-95 and HYALURONIC ACID
The beneficial and antioxidant properties of Turmeric are quite well known, the benefits are highlighted precisely in naturally counteracting inflammatory processes. BCM-95 is a bioactive turmeric extract, standardized in curcumin, which is its active ingredient.
The BCM-95 turmeric extract has a high bioavailability, is standardized to 95% in curcuminoids (curcumin) and essential oils (Ar-turmerone) naturally present in the rhizome of plant. This particular combination increases the bioavailability of the active components without having to resort to synthetic additives, thus optimizing their effectiveness even at a low dose.
BCM-95 is approximately 7-9 times more bioavailable than common curcumin. It is good to know that thanks to this special combination, significant concentrations of curcumin persist in the body for up to 8 hours after oral administration.
