Vitamin C 1000 timed release<\/strong><\/span><\/a> by Jamieson is a slow releasevitamin C<\/strong>supplement with bioflavonoid complex Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that performs multiple functions in our body and is useful for the normal function of the immune system. Our body is unable to produce vitamin C nor can it store it for a long time. Although there is a pool of vitamin C in our body, there is a constant turnover of the same and any quantity taken beyond the immediate requirement is excreted. Therefore a continuous daily consumption of vitamin C is required.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jamieson Vitamin C 1000 timed release<\/b><\/a> has a particular formulation in which ascorbic acid is microencapsulated<\/b>; this allows the vitamin C<\/b> to be released gradually<\/b> in small quantities over 6-8 hours, thus keeping the cells and tissues saturated for a longer period. As vitamin C is used in metabolic processes, the capsule releases more vitamin C to restore the tissues.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vitamin C 1000 timed release by Jamieson contains the bioflavonoids rutin<\/b> and hesperidin<\/b> and a complex of bioflavonoids from lemon;<\/b> it also contains acerola<\/b>and rosehip extract,<\/b> excellent sources of vitamin C and bioflavonoids with strong antioxidant properties and which promote the resistance of the capillaries. The intake of bioflavonoids<\/b> associated with vitamin C increases the bioavailability of the latter and enhances its effects.<\/span><\/p>\n
