Description
Lutein and zeaxanthin are two carotenoids with a strong antioxidant action . Carotenoids are fat-soluble vegetable pigments that give yellow, orange and red colors to flowers, fruit and vegetables. Lutein and zeaxanthin are found in pumpkin, corn, carrots, paprika and dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach and broccoli. These two carotenoids play an important role in maintaining normal visual function: they are the two most important components of the pigments of the macula, the central area of the retina.
Jamieson’s Lutein Z ™ is a lutein complex and zeaxanthin derived from Marigold flowers, useful for maintaining normal visual function. Lutein Z ™ is also fortified with standardized extracts of European grape seeds, Ginkgo biloba, bilberry and green tea extract. These extracts contain important antioxidants that act synergistically with lutein and zeaxanthin.

Marigold extract ( Tagetes erecta L. flowers) standardized in lutein and zeaxanthin, bulking agents: micro-crystalline cellulose, calcium phosphate; ginkgo ( Ginkgo biloba L.) leaves dry extract, blueberry fruit dry extract ( Vaccinium myrtillus L.), grape seed dry extract ( Vitis vinifera L.), anti-caking agent: magnesium stearate, green tea leaves dry extract ( Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze) titrated at 40% in polyphenols, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide. Capsule in hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. GLUTEN FREE.
Take 1 capsule a day between meals.
