Calcium is important for bone strength. After the surgery, the body has a greater need for calcium. BariNutrics® calcium citrate is an easily absorbed calcium supplement based on calcium citrate. The advantage of calcium citrate is that it does not need an acidic gastric environment to be assimilated, unlike calcium carbonate. BariNutrics® calcium citrate also contains vitamin D, which promotes the deposition of calcium in the bones.
Usage: 2 chewable compacts per day.
For optimal absorption it is preferable to take the 3 tablets at different times of the day. It is not necessary to take BariNutrics® calcium citrate and BariNutrics® multi separately. Thanks to the particularly well assimilable form of iron (iron bisglycinate) in BariNutrics® multi, the calcium in BariNutrics® calcium citrate has no effect on iron absorption.
