Finally August !!! After a year of work, a break is more than deserved!
So let’s really take it a rest. Whether we go on vacation or not, we pamper our body and, for at least two weeks, we try to say “goodbye” to the heart rate monitor. We try to live at a more relaxed pace, declining the movement in a different way than in the rest of the year. After all, even the personal trainer is entitled to a vacation. So, in these two weeks, let’s try to replace the gym with alternative outdoor activities.
At the sea, green light for water sports. From swimming, snorkeling, water skiing to sailing, surfing, kitesurfing and beach sports, such as beach tennis, beach volleyball, beach tennis and beach soccer. Of course, all this does not exclude walks by the sea or in the water and even simply relaxing on the sun lounger. Because our body has a very healthy need to rest, to recover all the efforts made during the winter.
The mountains and trips to other countries, on the other hand, can be an opportunity for long walks, trekking, climbing and other mountain sports, as well as a bit of movement at night.
But even for those who stay in the city, August can become a special month. In fact, even for those who do not go on vacation, August is a month in which the pace of work relaxes, most businesses and shops close and most people go out of town. Therefore, even when carrying out a job, there is more time to devote to yourself. So, to do some healthy and different movement, just use the car less or take advantage of the absence of traffic to take that trip out of town that you have imagined for a long time.
In short, whatever your preferences are, the important thing is to recover to prepare your body for the resumption of training, because in September there will be many new features to get you off to a great start!
